Amole Gupte turns gangster for Obama

Actor Amole Gupte, who has received praises for his performance as a Maharashtrian Mafioso in Vishal Bharadwaj's dark thriller ‘Kaminey’, is ready to play a bigger ‘Kamina’ in Subhash Kapoor’s ‘With Love To Obama’.

This time Amole will be seen as the biggest kingpin of kidnapping business in UP (Uttar Pradesh). His character in the film is said to be inspired by a prominent politician from UP.

“The film is a first of its kind comedy and a satire on recession where I play a politician-cum-ganglord whose business is unaffected by the recession” says Amole.

The story revolves around how the recession gifted by America has taken a toll on the underworld by not only affected the top corporate houses in metro cities but also gangsters in UP (Uttar Pradesh).

Apart from Amole Gupte, who is claimed to be the surprise package in the film, the film also stars Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Manu Rishi Chadha and Sanjay Mishra.

The film is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Ashok Pandey of Revel Films.
