Sridevi's 'Thoughts' to be sold at Christie's for $50,000

Sridevi has proved herself to be the undisputed queen of the entertainment industry.Her painting entitled 'Thoughts' is being auctioned at one of the world's poshest auction houses Christie's for charity.

.And the price Christie's has put on Sridevi's painting is $50,000!!

Says Sridevi's proud husband Boney Kapoor, “Christie's has priced Sri's painting at 50,000 dollars. The auction for her painting to conclude on May 6 will open at 25,000 dollars and the auction is expected to conclude at 50,000 dollars.”

Boney is naturally very proud of his wife. “Ofcourse I'm very proud of her. I always have been. When she took up painting I knew she would make an extraordinary success of it.

The money will go to a clebrity charity fund where other global personalities like Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey are also contributing. Clinton will be playing golf with any personality who will shell out 35,000 dollars.”

Though Sridevi was reluctant to comment on this singular honour she did tell a friend that she was nervous since such a huge price was being put on her painting on an international platform.

Laughs Boney, “Naturally it's a hard act to follow. But I know Sri can do it.”
