The actress recently spoke out on how lonely she feels living alone in the city. She has a big family of almost six siblings. But most of them are at their family home in London. Her mother Suzanne Turquotte is committed to a charity cause and will not leave Madurai in Tamil Nadu to come and live with her in Mumbai. Her younger sister, Isabelle, is in New York studying acting. Katrina's now on-now off relationship with Salman Khan is more taxing rather than soothing. Her hectic and erratic shooting schedules are also very demanding. All this has taken a toll on Katz. A source told us that the lady has also lost weight as she has not being eating properly. She recently had a health scare when she was taken ill. So grim was the situation that she had to be hospitalized and operated upon! Clearly she has not been looking after herself. Reportedly, her Rajneeti director, Prakash Jha, noticed her looking pale and listless and directly asked her why she was so careless about her health! Is Sonam Kapoor Akshay Kumar's latest victim? Bollywood is a place of insecurities and where competition is rife. Stars vie with each other to come up looking better, especially in a multi-starrer! The lovely Sonam Kapoor is a tense lady these days. She was slated to do Anees Bazmee's Thank You along with Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Suniel Shetty and Celina Jaitley. The film went on the floors some time ago and shooting is on in full swing. Surprisingly, Sonam hasn't received any intimation as to when she is to shoot. Though shooting commenced, she hasn't been asked to report on the sets. Reportedly, she fears that Akshay Kumar must have axed some portions of her role. Akshay has been notorious for chopping his co-stars roles in the past. It was rumoured that Akki has done that in order to keep the focus on his character. After Hrithik, Barbara Mori now wants to romance SRK Mexico's export to India, Barbara Mori continues to make waves. She is gaining a firm foothold in Bollywood as the leading lady of Kites and as the Roshan's new discovery. Recently, she was introduced to Shah Rukh Khan through her friends Hrithik and Susanne Roshan. The lady is in town to promote Kites and is at present put up at the Oakwood apartment in Juhu. Dimpy's Emotional Atyachar on Rahul Mahajan rigged?

UTV Bindass' ‘Emotional Atyachar' has become a tool for an individual to secretly gauge the loyalty of his/her partner. Many an individual has been caught with his pants down, literally, thereby saving an innocent from being duped.

Such spying looks real with ordinary people but when celebrities come on board, it invariably leads to speculation on whether the act is rigged. The show had earlier embarrassed Raja Chaudhary after his infidelity cost him his relationship with fiancé Shraddha Sharma.

This time, it's the blabbering that it was Rahul Mahajan who was subject to an Emotional Atyachar by his wife Dimpy Ganguly.

Strangely, Ganguly won over Rahul through a swaymavar, and barely few months after their marriage, she chose to do an emotional atyachar on her man.

The rationale given is that Mrs. Mahajan has long heard about Rahul's alleged philandering ways. She wants her hubby to be ridded of the Casanova tag, thus she approaches the team of emotional atyachar.

Well, all that is fine, but the presence of Dimpy's swayamvar competitor Nikunj Mallick in the spy act does raise a few brows. After all, Nikunj was snubbed by Rahul in the swayamvar. Her intentions behind the spy act seem dubious.

It so happens that Rahul Mahajan and Nikunj Mallick bump into each other at pool side of a hotel. After a brief interaction, Mallick introduces Rahul to Priyanka Nandi - an EAT (Emotional Atyachar team) agent. As soon as Mallick leaves the scene, Rahul starts getting cozy with Nandi. Another EAT agent steps in and Mr. Mahajan is at his tricks again. Dimpy was shocked to see her husband's theatrics.

Will this now lead to a break-up between the newly weds. We tried calling Dimpy but she remained unavailable for comment.

When contacted, Mallick said, “I'm under a contract with the channel. I'm not authorised to speak on it. You'll have to watch the episode to see the truth.”

A channel insider accidentally claimed that the final act is yet to be shot. This immediately begs the question that why would a candid camera show require a final shot. After all, isn't all such footage spontaneous in nature?

An individual closely associated with the act says, “You (media) guys are very intelligent and you know how it all takes place. I don't need to say anything. You can draw your own conclusion.”

Whatever the show might reveal, there will be no threat to Rahul and Dimpy's marriage. Nevertheless, don't forget to watch Emotional Atyachar at 11.00 pm on 30 April on UTV Bindass.

KJo's latest catch: A sea-facing apartment just like SRK

The city heaves a sigh of relief as real estate prices let up. Real estate rates had shot up some time ago, and people had put off buying land or new houses. Now, there's a bit of a respite.

And making the most of it are our BTown celebrities. Karan Johar is one man who believes in making hay while the sun shines. The man is now the proud owner of a brand new flat in the city upscale locality of Bandra.

He has acquired a sprawling sea-facing apartment at Carter Road in Bandra. A source told us that his new home is in The Residency building in a posh Bandra locality.

Apparently his apartment is on the top two floors of the swanky 12-storey highrise. It seems even Kiran Rao, wife of actor Aamir Khan, has been scouting for office space around Khar-Santacruz.

Karan now joins the ranks of other celebs that have sea-facing homes like buddy SRK, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar etc. The awesome view and refreshing ambience are sure to stimulate KJo's thought processes!

Madhur shells out Rs.1 Lakh for her Heroine Kareena

No, it's not what you're thinking, for none of our current leading ladies would so much as frown for 1 lakh!

Rather it's the amount director Madhur Bhandarkar had to pay to acquire a title for his movie. It seems like Bollywood has been bitten by the biopic bug. After Anurag Basu and Shashanka making films on Kishore Kumar, it's Madhur who is making one on Marilyn Monroe.

The director has chosen reigning diva Kareena Kapoor to essay the role of the tragic Hollywood stunner.

The director, known for his brand of realistic films, was looking for a suitable title for his film. His movie titles mostly have one or two words which reflect the subject content.

Like Fashion on the glamour industry, Corporate on the corporate sector, Page 3 on the party circuit, etc. He wanted an apt title for his take on the rise and, subsequent, downfall of the iconic diva.

He finally zeroed in on Heroine. But the title was already booked by Guddu Dhanoa, who has earlier made films like Deewana, Big Brother, Kismat, Bichhoo, Elaan etc.

Madhur, who believes in perfection for his films, came up with a novel way to acquire the title. He donated Rs 1 lakh to Guddu Dhanoa's charity.

A source told us that Madhur was glad to have it but was not sure if he would use it. The exchange was in good spirit and both sides are happy. Another case of a Bhandarkar film making waves before it even goes on the floors!

'Flop' Harman once again looking for Kareena's help

After Milenge Milenge which releases in the last week of June or the first week of July Boney Kapoor has decided to also finally release It's My Life, the only pending film of Harman Baweja.

Directed by Anees Bazmi It's My Life is a remake of a superhit Telugu Film Bomarrillu, The film has been ready for nearly a year. The release date has been repeatedly announced and cancelled, the most recent being July 23, 2010.

Says Boney, “Harman himself is partly to blame for the delay. I wish he hadn't given priority to his other two films Victory and It's My Raashee. If he had listened to me and focused on It's My Life he'd have had a super -hit on his hand.”

Riding high prior to the release of his debut film Love Story 2050 Harman gave out his dates to Ajit Pal's Victory and Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Raashee and wanted It's My Life to come after these.

The gambit had not gone down well with the sensitive Boney Kapoor. He had decided to put It's My Life on the backburner, his logic being, “If the project is not important enough to the hero it isn't important for me either.”

But now Boney is in a more charitable mood. Apparently he has been negotiating with a large corporate house Sahara for a tie-up release.

“I'll release It's My Life right after Milenge Milenge, ” says Boney.

But the question is, when does Milenge Milenge release? It's scheduled for the last week of June or the first week of July. But the time that Kareena Kapoor promised to a lot for the promotional video and photo-shoot have still not materialized.

Says Boney, “I needed to get Shahid's video in place. Now all I need from Kareena is 5-6 hours. She has promised she would give me the time.”

But when? It looks like Harman Baweja will once again have to look towards Kareena for support. Remember she was supposed to play the female lead opposite him in his debut film but had backed out after a few days' shooting. Now until Kareena gives dates for the promotional material in Milenge Mienge, Harman's only film remains stuck.
