When it's a Rohit Shetty film, you can be sure of some high octane action sequences which include the likes of cars blasting, actors standing on top of moving bikes, etc. While his actors are expected to do some heavy-duty action sequences in his films, this time for his latest film Golmaal 3, Rohit Shetty decided to get his actress Kareena Kapoor also to do a dhamakedaar stunt sequence.

Kareena, who was also seen in Rohit's Golmaal Returns, will now be seen making a dramatic entry by standing on the bonnet of a moving car in Golmaal 3 Bebo insisted on performing the daredevil stunt scene herself and ended up doing the scene like a pro. Says a source who was present on the sets, "It was a very difficult scene. Not only did Kareena have to maintain her balance but she also had to get her expressions right. She agreed to do the stunt on the condition that the director, Rohit Shetty, would drive the car himself. Kareena was tied with a harness and had a support but the car was taking turns. It was quite a tough stunt."

So it was Rohit indeed who sat on the driver's seat when Kareena pulled off this amazing stunt. Bebo on her part seems to have had a ball doing this daredevil stunt sequence. Says the gorgeous actress, "I have had an absolutely fantastic time shooting for the film. The entry sequence was planned this way and Rohit explained it to me in detail. When he is around, I have nothing to worry about. In the final analysis, the shot looks amazing."

Not long back, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif gave their first joint interview and answered questions about their love life for the first time.When Katrina was asked whether Salman was a very romantic boyfriend and she promptly replied,

“No. He is not romantic at all. He keeps it all for the screen.”
This will be their first serious romance and Katrina confesses that their ideas of romance are very different from each others’.

"In the film, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Emraan Hashmi plays a gangster based in Dubai, who’s obsessed with Dimple Kapadia. There’s a song where Emraan and his girlfriend (played by Prachi Desai) watch Bobby and then Emraan gifts her with Dimple’s outfit.” Says a source.

It’s a passionate sequence which has Emraan and Prachi getting drawn to each other. Initially, the demure Prachi was reluctant to wear the bold outfit but director Milan Luthria managed to convince her."

Prachi, says, "Emraan’s called Shoaib in the film. I play his conservative Muslim girlfriend Mumtaaz. Bobby was a big hit at the time the movie is set in. Shoaib is inspired by multiple real life personalities and one of them had a fascination for Dimple’s Bobby persona. Hence Emraan is seen gifting me with outfits that she wears in the film.

Prachi says she was initially hesitant, "Dimple looked so gorgeous that I didn’t want to be compared to her but Milan convinced me. In fact, Milan gave us a month to work on our bodies for the song. While he wanted Emraan to flaunt his six-pack in the song, he wanted me to tone down my body."

She adds, "The scenes were shot over a few months. Emraan is one of my favorite co-stars and I am most comfortable with him. I was clear that we wouldn’t kiss, though."

Bollywood seems to be attracting musicians from abroad.

Most recently it was Kylie Minogue who sang a song for Blue and Akon who is doing the honours for Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One.

Now, the latest entrant to jump into the Bollywood singing bandwagon is Columbian songstress Shakira, who is set to to rock in a song for composer duo Salim-Sulaiman.

Shakira is no stranger to India. She had performed live in Mumbai and other cities back in 2007. She also has repeatedly expressed her desire to be a part of Bollywood.

According to a website, the song will be shot on South African model Candice Boucher for the film featuring the IPL owner and entrepreneur Sachin Joshi. The film is expected to be recorded in the next couple of months.

'The lyrics would be in English with a smattering of simple Hindi. It won't be a duet like the Kylie Minogue song in Blue. It'd be a Shakira solo dhamaka,' the website quoted a source as saying.

Salim has confirmed the news. 'It would be a very sensuous, cabaret kind of a song,' the website reported him as saying.

Katrina Kaif showed her respects to veteran actor Manoj bajpayee by touching his feet in a very sweet gesture. There have been applauses pouring in for Manoj, after Rajneeti’s premiere Thursday night. However the modest Manoj is evidently embarrassed by all the lime light being thrown upon him. During the premiere when Manoj was asked to join the cast for a click, he obliged with much coyness. And as soon as he stepped out, Katrina increased his embarrassment double fold by touching his feet and saying, “Aap to superb actor hai.” Manoj could do nothing but immediately hug Katrina overwhelmed with joy. After that, in a friendly manner, Arjun and Ranbir lifted him on their shoulders and cheered for him.

“It’s very embarrassing for me. Katrina herself has performed so well in the film. I told her, ‘Please don’t embarrass me.’ After that both Ranbir and Arjun lifted me on their shoulders. It was a nice gesture from them as it showed the chemistry we all had during the making of the film.” said Manoj Bajpayee. Incidentally, a similar incident took place around a decade back with Tabu touching his feet and praising him in similar terms after “Satya”.

As far as “Raajneeti” is concerned, I don’t have words to thank the people who have sent me messages and called me since Thursday night. Prakash Jha gave me the role of a lifetime. I am looking forward to work with him in Arakshan.” Bajpayee thanked his audience and his director.

Aishwarya, Abhishek at Raavan promotional event, Raavan is a forthcoming Hindi film written and directed by Mani Ratnam. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram in the lead roles while Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, and Priyamani play key supporting roles. The film is expected to be released on June 18, 2010. It is simultaneously being made in Tamil as Raavanan with a slightly different cast. The music of the movie is composed by Academy Awards winner A. R. Rahman
